- Do I need a partner to sign up?
Swing is a social dance, which means you don't need your own partner--you will be dancing with everyone in class. However, for balance and more fun, we request that ladies bring a gentleman if possible. - What if I've never danced before?
That's the perfect position to start from! Why would you go to a dance class if you already knew how to dance? - Well, I'm really not a good dancer...I have no rhythm, and two left feet. Should I sign up?
Trust us! If you have two legs, two arms and a head, you can dance! It's the dance teacher's job to help you to learn how to be rhythmical and graceful. - Do I need some kind of special shoes or clothes in order to take the classes?
There are no requirements. Just wear something comfortable, closer to sports wear, preferably flat shoes. - How long does it take until I can really dance?
Honestly, it all depends on your enthusiasm! If you don't miss any classes, you can shine on the dance floor after two months. But actually, after a couple of classes you will be able to dance! - Ok, so I will learn how do dance. What's next?
